Coyote bullet

Has anyone used the 129gr Hornady bullet for coyotes? That’s about all I can find. Thanks for any input.

Put the Speer 90 grain TNT on your want list.

It would help if you told us if you are hunting for fur or if you just want to blow up coyotes.

If you are just doing depredation the 129gr Hornady will do the job. If you are fur hunting, I don't know if the 129 Hornady will work for you.

Hopefully someone will come along who can give you the advice you are looking for. In the mean time, search around on the forum and see if the info you are looking for has been covered already.

Thanks for the input. I run hot & cold on saving pelts & since the 129gr is all I can find right now, I’ll go ahead with it.

The 129 gr Hornady should exit and the lower than designed velocities we see with the Grendel may cause the exit hole to be smaller than we fear ot light be.
