I have been lurking around forum gathering information about Grendel, finally paid my deposit, got PTA awaiting delivery of Ruger Ranch 6.5Grendel.
Will be posting questions on load development, performance, usage, accuracy etc.

Just_John - Mate, i'm looking at recreational sport shooting + hunting (goats, wild dogs, pigs, occasionally axis deers). range for these wont extend beyond 250m, tried 223 doesnt carry the punch to knock those boars (150+kgs), tried 308, too loud, scares the farm animals away.

nah mate we dont have them, its a shame....unless you are professional shooter with genuine reason, plus Cat D license and AG letter to back it up - real pain....most of us dont muck around with these, rather have the bolt actions and be done with it.
