I have the PSA 18" upper. I have a couple hundred rounds through mine. Had to start hand loading in October so I could shoot it. I built a few 5.56's, a 6.5 grendle and a 350 legend AR's this year. All are fun to shoot. 5.56 gets more use as it is still half the cost to shoot. I have about 100 rounds loaded up for the Gretchen the next trip to the range. Love shooting the 6.5.

Welcome to the clan, from another native Texian! What part of this great state are you in? We have all learned much from this forum and, it is hoped that what is learned outside is then shared across these pages. You will find that the Grendel is a lot more fun than the 5.56. So much so that when the grendel starts its mitosis and becomes two, and then again and becomes four and then again.... that it is an almost incurable problem. However, by keeping the lone Grendel in the sunlight with a very steady diet of powder and shot that it does retard the process.
