Glad to have another player in the Grendel game and the 308-sized AR game. Interesting that the carrier on the 260 has vent holes like the Armalite carrier.

That's a prototype, as you can see it doesn't have the recess that can act as a forward assist and pops the ejection port cover.

I talked with LAR yesterday about Grendel availability dates, and they said May of this year. They're still sourcing barrels in this crazy market, which is no easy task.

Sorry to go off topic, but how do you like the Hawke optic? I have been looking at them lately and I would love to have your opinion on it/them. Thanks in advance!

i like the scope it is a little over kill for this gun 8-25 but i got a steel of a deal on it. i wanted a 4-16. the glass is clear the reticle isn't over powering useable range on the scope is up to 22 power or so it starts to get a little ghosting on the edges. compared to the cheap scopes i have had in the past this is leaps and bounds better than them.

would i buy another one yes i would. trying to decide between the 4-16 hawke or the vortex 4-16

They're still sourcing and generating lead times on barrels from a guy who only does production runs for manufacturers.

Those are good looking rifles. Seems like an interesting location for the scope mounts being butted up to the magnification ring?
