Looks nice. Is the side charging upper ambi? Looks like from the assembled pick the handle is on the left. I’ve got a Gibbz side charger and definitely like it.

The bolt does not reciprocate, it is just the same as a normal bolt gun. Once the shot is fired you have to manually remove the casing and feed the next one...

then why even have a gas block? just get a nonported barrel

Yes Canada has banned the AR-15 and similar weapons, But the MRA Renegade is not an AR-15. The upper and lower only fit with each other. AR-15 BCG will not fit in the Renegade upper. the only AR-15 component that will work are Barrels, Handguards, Stocks , triggers and magazines pinned to 5 rds.

Yes most AR-15 Barrels are pre-drilled with a gas port, The Renegade comes with a collet to cover this port.

In Canada, AR-15 are Banned. So people like me that have spare parts, can now move all those parts to a firearm that is legal to own in Canada. The upper and lower of the AR-15 are the banned parts.

I had AR-15 parts to build a complete Fire arm. Still waiting for compensation, Government has not divulged it's buy back program yet.
