I got mine. It's a replacement for the one I gave the nephew when we built a pencil barrel 5.56 last fall. First time I'd ever used a BCM. Doing the thermal fit is sooo much nicer than bedding with threadlocker or gasket sealer. I'll never go back.

I got a notice earlier this afternoon that Primary Arms has the non-blems in stock and have one of those coming too. Not sure what I’ll do with the second, but one will end up as a 6ARC SBR.

I’m with biodsl, the thermal fitting is the way to go. On my Odin 18” 6ARC barrel I had to freeze the barrel as well as heat the upper. Once I slid them together they locked up rock solid

I did some builds for a relative of mine a few months ago and I thought certain parts were hard to come by then. It's turned into a first come first serve situation and a person better be fast when the notices appear. I agree the thermal fit BCM uppers are the way to go for a tight fitting barrel. I think it wise for people to stock up on needed pistol and rifle mags, "while there is still ample stock" before they turn into the scarcity and price range as reloading and ammunition supplies have become..Once any standard magazine legislation appears in the horizon, it maybe too late..

Agreed. I had to freeze and heat for both a BCM and a Noveske. I won't buy another upper that doesn't require a thermal fit. The others feel sloppy in comparison.

Yes they did pre-panic. I have a blem BCM upper on my 20" 5.56 AR15 that I got for about $40.

I ordered two; got one today, and the other should be here Monday. Now all I need is the damn 12” 6ARC Monster barrel!

Not sure what I’ll build on the second upper.

I offered to build the wife a custom rifle with the second BCM receiver. She didn’t appreciate the gesture and implied sacrifice on my part. What can I do? Should I try to swap her for a case of 6ARC ammo? She makes good money, so should I keep her???

The older style. No white * BCM on it, but there is the star, molded in. With the UPK.

The "star" is where the blemish is on the one I received. There is no anodizing at the top of the star. Except for that & a few oily fingerprints, it looks pretty doggone good.
