well done PNWT. looks like you thought through it well. is the APA LB a flash hider or a muzzle brake? and if MB, do MBs do well to suppress muzzle flash? Personally i don't like MBs because of hearing loss, and i've lost enough already. but from all i read, they do work to reduce recoil.

Sweet build man! I use a few similar parts in my rifles.... CMC flat triggers, SA GBs and Raptor CHs... Range report when possible

Muzzle brake. The reduced recoil is worth it to me. Decibels are not bad at all with hearing protection.

Where and when did you get your barrel and bcg? I have been looking everywhere for the Faxon 18" fluted and Faxon BCG. I did score a SLR adjustable gas block though.

Arm or Ally had several Faxon 6.5 Grendel barrels in stock yesterday. You have to jump if something is in stock as inventory is really selling fast.

Thank you! I checked, and indeed they do have a few Faxon barrels. Unfortunately for me they don't have the heavy fluted 18" barrel in stock or the BCG.

2020 direct from Faxon with headspace checked. IIRC it was mid 2020.
