I use and reload Fed American Eagle in 223/556 and have no issues, is it still good to go in the Grendel?

Probably 100 grn bullet but the recipe is undetermined. Im just trying to buy ammo right now with brass worthy to reload

The factory Federal American Eagle is loaded with 120 SMK and is reportedly decent ammo. The Federal AE ammo was the first 6.5 Grendel ammunition released by Federal. The biggest surprise is the price Federal charges for American Eagle 6.5 Grendel ammo which is higher than typical AE ammo in other calibers. Another surprise was Federal chose a bullet with the lower BC compared to the 123 grain SMK. Many forum members find the 120 grain SMK to be more accurate than the 123 grain SMK in the 6.5 Grendel.

I’ve seen the 50 pack American eagle 90 grain TNT bullets and the 20 pack American Eagle 120 grain Sierra match King bullets.I’ve never heard anyone complain about either.
