I have been lurking on this site for a while now. I’m about to start my first Grendel build. I picked up a ballistic advantage barrel and bolt for a good price. Looking forward to shooting some Grendel loads.

My goal is just to have an accurate intermediate cartridge. I’ll probably use it on mule deer.

I got a

-Ballistic Advantage 20” DMR stainless barrel and bolt
-Aero M4E1 receiver set
- a cheap PSA 18” free float handguard
-Magpul MOE rifle stock
- Cheap Vortex crossfire scope

Sounds like all you need is bullets, and you’re good to go.
If you reload, I’d recommend Hornaday 123 grain SST.

I got my lower built, just waiting on my upper and handguard. That BA barrel is looking lonely just sitting on my work bench.
