Great youtube channel called Simple Minded Fella.

He does a ton of ballistics gel tests!

He has only a couple of 6.5 Grendel videos, but has even more 6.5 Creedmoor hunting ammo videos.

What is really cool is those Creedmoor tests are velocity simulated to be 100 yard and 500 yard. So they are all completely relevant to 6.5 Grendel shooters.

At "500 yards" I think his velocity is 2000 to 2100 fps.

He does a nice side by side on notebook paper with expanded bullets high and low velocity impacts of:
120gr GMX, E-TIP, TTSX, and the 127 LRX.

140gr SST looks good down to 1600 fps.

I've been watching his channel for a while. It's not ultra scientific, but I think there's lots of useful information to be harvested from his tests, and he tests so many bullets. His tests are the reason I'm starting off working with the 165gr TBT and 168gr ABLRs first in my new .308.

Thanks. His test of the 130gr Federal Terminal Ascent tells me all I need to know about those bullets. I'll plink what I have left or reserve them for 100yd shots.
