Not sure how the WuFlu has affected Geissele, but I wouldn’t assume there is no Memorial Day sale just yet. Maybe give it another day.

Geissele has had a lot of items out of stock for a while. I wonder if they are working on a big contract?

As far as Timney, they seem to be more aligned with the competition/target space. Personally, I wouldn’t run them on a hunting/defense build.

Primary Arms email this morning had SSA-E for $240 with a gift card. I’m on Geissele/ALG email notification and many times it comes out pretty close to the actual day of the holiday.

I really like the LaRue MBT 2S for around $90.

Still looking. I think 240.00 is to high. I own two already and I don’t think you can beat them. What does everyone use in comparison for target and hunting?

The alg defense two stage is a nice, less expensive option. My target rig has a national match, my hunting/target have ssa and one alg in a hunting gun.

The only real difference I feel is the lighter pull of the nation match.

I have a 2.5 lb Timney single stage trigger and it’s fine. it really depends on your preference. For me nothing beats a Geissele NM adjustable 2 stage trigger.Nothing! so if you’re going to spend close to $200 on an SSE, you may want to consider the NM.

I finally got a chance to feel an SSA-E yesterday. I took an MBT on a grip block in with me to Ranier. There's no way I'd pay the difference for my perception of any improvement. I don't know how anyone is competing with LaRue at 100+ prices. They're not worth it. Bothe the MBT-2S and MBT 1-S are 87 bucks, and are light speed ahead of many of the triggers I tested yesterday that list for $150+.

IDK, maybe I'm biased... I tend to think that most of the trigger hype is the result of some bias. In the MBT's case though, it's backed up by the sub $90 dollar price, which makes me right-er...
