Hello all, I've searched all I could but I haven't found any online store that has 8208 XBR. I even reached out to IMR and this their reply
" We have been out of IMr8208XBR for several months. There is supposed to be some coming in in Late Feb. or early March but I do not know the exact date it will be shipped to distributors. I know of no location which has some on hand.

The last time I got some IMR8208XBR was last summer. I believe believe it was around $27 per pound. Natchezs was having an end of summer special for free shipping and no hazard fee on orders over $200.I pitched in with some buddies. I only got 2 pounds.I wish I got more because after I ran out ,I haven’t been able to find any. Bass pro shops had it locally for a while but I have not been able to find it anywhere for the last few months. Been using H335. Academy has cases of that for $25 a pound.
Just go on a Natchezs and put 8208 on your wish list .They will let you know when it’s in.

Yeah, definitely. I know of stores that have it but they won't ship it. I guess it's against the law to ship without some govt lic. Thanks.

Last Fall, I stopped at one of our local gun shows and a reloading supplier was there but had no XBR on display. I asked them if they had any and they said yea....we brought some but we don't have it out. I bought three lbs off of them and they said they normally don't move much of it.
So....go to a show and ask the powder people if they have some. You just may find they do.
I paid 26 bucks per lb plus our PA sales tax of 6%. Much cheaper than ordering it online and paying tax plus a shipping fee and a hazmat fee. Regardless, they had it and with what I had to begin with, I'm set for quite a while. And two of the three had the same lot number as what I already had.

Chuck, i usually get it at the gun shows no problem. Im going next weekend and will let you know if they have it. Im looking for some ppv to after reading the 90g tnt thread.

If it wasn't such a pain in the butt to ship it. I would trade you 2 unopened 1lb bottles of ppv for something else.

8208 is stacked up like cordwood at a local shop here in my home state of Michigan. I dont really care for it myself.

Shipping is a BIG PIA for smokeless powders. Unless you are trained to ship hazardous materials/dangerous goods per DOT, (ground), you legally can't ship the materials to a buddy or buyer through a parcel service "yourself".
I ship hazmat every working day and each year, the rules get tougher. You must be trained and prove your certification to the parcel carrier before you can offer a dangerous good into commerce.
So..............if you can't find powders locally or at local gun shows, you are going to have to pay the up-charges from an online reloading supplier to have them ship it to you, unfortunately.
I missed the most recent local show in my Pennsylvania area this weekend. (Bloomsburg, PA). Next show isn't until April near me but I am GtG with powders at the moment. Primers as well.

Bass Pro website says it will be available to ship March 11th. They last had 8208 in October, I bought 4lbs. Follow Powder Valley on Facebook too. They announce when new powder arrives. They?ll be cheaper but will not receive the quantity that Bass Pro will
