First grendel!

Ok so it's not finished but it's a start. The lower is custom milled by myself soon to be cerakote in fde. The upper is a grendel hunter 18" stainless barrel. I'm building it for hunting deer here in Va.

Nice looking rifle. I am a sucker for fluted barrels. Any idea if they cut their own barrels or have someone else OEM them?

It's a Saturn barrel. So far I've only run some factory ammo through it. I was impressed with it shooting $7 wolf. Looking forward to playing around with some hand loads soon. I did cerakote a lower and a bipod last night and I was impressed with the outcome.

It's a liberty barrel button rifled. That's what grendelhunter puts in his uppers.

$7 dollar wolf ammo? Kind of seems high priced for the fmj wolf load.
