Think that the 123 SST will work fine for the hunting that I’m planning.
So at this point I hope to use this in this fall and after that will I hopefully have enough info to decide if another bullet might be better.
I have a separate thread in the reloading section with the 140gr Hornady ELD-M. And I have got quite good accuracy with that bullet.

I´ve got a Vortex PST II 5-25x50 that I picked from my other range gun.
It´s a bit bigger than I would like for hunting, but does just fine on the range :o

And waiting for a shipment from Brownells with some QD-swivels for a double backstrap sling. Hope it will work fine.
Have done some more testing with the 108gr Lapua Scenar bullet.
Have tried to find a node with a little more speed.
My initial testing ended at 28,0gr with the 108gr Scenar and the VV N133 powder. The published data is 27,8gr as a maximun load, and the 28,0gr looked to be a safe maxload.
But went a bit higher and have tested from 28,0gr up to 28,8gr.
After this testing, I found a node around 28,2gr of N133.
Loaded up 5 loads with 5 shots each.
Here is the result:

I´m quite happy with this result. There is very little difference between 28,0gr and 28,4gr and I will settle with the 28,2gr. This load also gave the lowest SD/ES.
The testing will continue with different jump and see if the load also preforms on target.
Almost forgot.
I´ve been working on a solution for a picatinny spigot mount that will fit into the forend of the KRG Bravo chassis.
Have been some step by step and try and error but now it is mounted and in place. And also, it works
This is the first prototype and it is in stainless steel.
The reson for this is many but I will maybe try and make this in aluminium sometime.

The forend of the KRG Bravo chassis is open and there is many prethreaded holes that can be used in the aluminium backbone of the forend.
I´ve measured and taken holes in the steel part so that it fit the forend and can be solid mounted in one of the prethreaded holes.

The clearance from the spigot and the barrel ended up nice. There is plenty of room for a bigger barrel in the future, if needed.

The bipods are from Nord Arms, made in carbon fiber and attaches with a QD picatinny clamp. Quick and very solid.

The bipods can also be mounted in the M-loc mounted picatinny on the forend if needed.
Took a quick trip to the range on the lunchbreak.
Not the best idea really. Stressed and also really windy today so the shooting could have been better i think.
But here is the results anyway:
It starts to form a pattern when I test for different jump.
And for me, its that the groups are gettnig smaller with a little more jump.
Will explore a but more around the nr 4 and 1,4mm jump.
Shot the next test on this bullet and jump yesterday.
The test in jump was from 1,0mm to 1,5mm. 0,1mm increments.
Shot prone at 100m. Foggy rain and disturbed with two different hunting dogs running on the range looking after the dead animal that they are use to find after someone takes a shot...
1.4mm looks consistent with the previous one and might be your sweet spot.

Not sure if the more powder and little higher velocity have payed off that well. Have better looking groups with this bullet and powder at lower speeds. Have some pictures earlier in the this thread.
More test is needed with this load and different jumps.
The #3 with 1,4mm jump still looks to be the winner.
Irritating that I always get one flyer though. The first group with the 1,2mm is a nice one, but the second opened up. And also if I take the 2 groups with the 1,4mm and place them over each other the 10 rounds make a fairly nice group.

I´ve gone back to the first load that shot well, with the lower load at 26,8gr with VV N133. Bullet still Lapua Scenar 108gr.

Attended a small local "competition" where this was up to the test.
It worked well and i´ve also collected some data after the match.
Thought I could make a little summeup here in the thread.
I´ve shot this load several times before.
I´ve now tested it over the chrono and on different temperatures and with the case being used almost 10 times the speed and consistency stayed quite the same.

It was this weekend really cold, around -20 degrees Celcius.
Still a decent group. The meaure is a little more than shown on the caliper, but it is under 40mm. (Don´t really know why I didn´t took a picture of that instead...)
The yellow target is tilted but the elevation spread is not that big.
I let the gun cool down (not very long in this temperature...)
Then shot 10 rounds over the chrono, here are the data:

The speed have gone up a bit, not really sure why. Maybe because the case have been fired about 10 times...?
Or maybe the barrel is faster now after almost 1000 rounds?

The load looks quite stable regards of the temperature. That is nice. Have now placed an order for 1000pcs of this bullet and also 1kg of powder in N133 so now I can focus on the range and shooting.
So, have a update due to some changes on the rifle.
Was going to test some new powder with a 140gr ELD-M bullet.
Mounted my Magnetospeed Sporter on the barrel and used a plastic rod that I´ve put in the muzzle to line up the chrono.
Forgot to remove the plastic rod and fired one shot. The rod was totally destroyed. Didn´t find any more problems so I continued to shoot and gather speeds and info.
A few weeks later on a local match I found out that something had happened. Got huge spred on 100meters on the first target. Att 300meters the spread was about 15"...
Did some test at 100meters.
Here is 5 shots.

The gunsmith found a cavity about 1-1½" from the muzzle. And the barrel needed to be cut down.
This ended up in a 18" barrel on my Grendel.
And here two groups with 5 shots.
The lower group was for sight in, and the top after adjustment. And at 100 meters, prone.

So it looks as it still preforms, but with shorter barrel.
The speed is however a bit lower due to the shorter barrel.
Previous with 20" barrel the speed for a 108gr Scenar was: 794 m/s (2605 fps)
With the 18" barrel the speed for the same bullet is: 784 m/s (2572 fps)
So total loss is about 10m/s (33 fps) with this bullet.
Did also som tests with this bullet and new barrel length at 600m (656 yrd).
Here is 10 shots at this distance. The two lowest one to the right was my fault, too trigger happy..... But 8 shots under 4" is OK for me.

Really glad nothing any worse happened, Second! If all it cost you was 10m/33fps, I'd call that a win. It shoots!
My Creedmore shoots that bullet at 2770fps, and groups just like that. I've gotta say - if I could do that with a Grendel barrel at 20 inches, I'm sold. I know my next project. My PRS rifle is going on a diet.

Shot some 140gr ELD-M yesterday at 600meters on steel, and it works very well also.
Good to hear that this light bullet works in 6,5 Creedmoor also.
Have another project with that caliber. The sad part is that the Grendel will probably get less range-time and end up as a hunting rifle instead. But a nice one either way!
