they might not be called a ??? Grendel and go by something else (like 6mm AR), but if it was designed off the x39 case that was blown out to create the Grendel, it's in the family!

I like the idea but I think with the OD of the straight walled Grendel brass, .40 cal would be the largest we could go. If .40 would even fit. Not sure.

The ID of a Grendel case is somewhere right around .40 so unfortunately, I don't think 10mm would work. Would make for a great "10mm Maximum" semi auto handgun, though.Threefiddyseven Grrrrrr would probably end up looking like something in between 300 BLK and 458 Socom. Which is a gap that should be filled!

Now, calling it. 358 Grrr and sizing the bore accordingly would allow rifle bullets along with good medium game performance.

A more gender-neutral name might be 35 Grendel.

Yes. They are too narrow. I would have bought Grendel wildcats but the barrels would have cost me at least 3X as much.
I only included the photos to show the shoulders. Sort of like cheesecake shots for shooters.

Interestingly we also have VonGruff’s Geendel Max in 6.5 in addition to the Grendel and the LBC. The Grendel Max is a slightly stretched version of the Grendel.

what differentiate the 6mm AR, Grinch, Fat Rat and Turbo 40 from each other? or are they all different names for the same thing?

6mmAr, 243LBC,6mm Grendel(?) are all necked down standard Grendel. The others I believe are stretched and with sharper shoulders.

I can say for sure that the 20 Grendel is a necked down 6.5.

Same go & no-go gauges.

I have also used the 6.5 Grendel FL die to set shoulder and body, followed by the appropriate neck sizing.

OP, LBC stands for Les Baer Custom who developed the 264 LBC to be a 6.5 Grendel clone with a different throat. Completely cross compatible with 6.5 grendel. So all the LBCs are off a Grendel case but I would surmise that they use an LBC style throat instead of a SAAMI Grendel style throat.
