Holy cow! Who uses 40x?

I've used 42x -- with the Grendel. Got beat by a 17 hmr at 140 yds too. Took 'em on the next leg though.

That would make an awesome long-range optic. I've been very impressed with March Optics glass quality and overall fit, feel, and function of the scopes. Shooting out to 700yds, and spotting targets out to 1k, I forgot that I was only on 2.5x the whole time, and didn't feel a need to crank up magnification. You can resolve targets easily with that glass.
