BTW...I haven't stepped in Dick's since 2012...neither has anyone from my family. Before that, might have shopped some items on sale, but they generally suck as a sporting goods store anyways.

+1 If they don't have the products I buy I don't shop there. Marxists, yes, agree 100%. They want to take away our ability to defend ourselves and to speak out about unfair practices. Oh, and they want to rule the world.

Back to the bakers, though, if they sell a rifle to someone 21 but not to some 19, who is legal age... that is discrimination, and someone should take them to court and bankrupt them, would serve them right for slicing up the Constitution.

I've boycotted Dick's since 2012 when they first started this BS.
They didn't miss me and I didn't miss them.

I believe age discrimination is legal. Otherwise, anyone could get into the movies at the senior citizen rate.

Good that someone posted this policy from Dick's. A public service. Other than that, if you don't like them, don't buy from them. Not like there aren't about a billion other places selling the same things, most for the same or less. LR55

Walmart has also pulled all semi guns and mags from stores and online purchases! Heard this this morn on the news.

Wish I could boycott Dick's but I stopped wasting time with them years ago.

Walmarts new policy as of 28 FEB 2018-
"In light of recent events, we’ve taken an opportunity to review our policy on firearm sales. Going forward, we are raising the age restriction for purchase of firearms and ammunition to 21 years of age. We will update our processes as quickly as possible to implement this change. In 2015, Walmart ended sales of modern sporting rifles, including the AR-15. We also do not sell handguns, except in Alaska where we feel we should continue to offer them to our customers. Additionally, we do not sell bump stocks, high-capacity magazines and similar accessories. We have a process to monitor our eCommerce marketplace and ensure our policies are applied. We take seriously our obligation to be a responsible seller of firearms and go beyond Federal law by requiring customers to pass a background check before purchasing any firearm. The law would allow the sale of a firearm if no response to a background check request has been received within three business days, but our policy prohibits the sale until an approval is given. We are also removing items from our website resembling assault-style rifles, including nonlethal airsoft guns and toys. Our heritage as a company has always been in serving sportsmen and hunters, and we will continue to do so in a responsible way."
