Howdy y'all!!!
My name is Gene and i have always loved the AR platform but always hated the 223. I have a couple SR-25s ( one is a Mark 11 Mod 0 ), and 5 ARs, but only one of them now is chambered in the 6.5 grendel. I love that caliber. It seems just right for that platform. The SRs are just too heavy, and like i said, the 223 is just too weak...
I hope to learn a lot here about reloading the grendel. Maybe i can also make new friends that might live in the DFW area who will want to get together to shoot since i live in the country and have my own range an hour west of Fort Worth.

Awesome to hear. The land is closer to Hico, but that isnt far at all. Next time im in the area Ill let you know. Its awesome to have a forum member so close

Ain't it grand to have a shooting range on your back porch? I am so blessed to have a 30 yard pistol range, 100 yard rifle range, and a 50 yard archery range. And the goats keep it mowed for me!
Sheepdawg, I have 15 acres half way between Mineral Wells and Stephenville, just an hour west of Cowtown on 20... also have the rifle range ( 200 meters ) and goats!!!

Hey fellas! This is Gene! I decided to spice up my nickname a bit and went to "Grendel Gene". Ha ha!!,
Anyway, i will be off the week of thanksgiving and if you guys want to do a little shooting, i have the range just an hour from cowtown. So Dawg. Traxx, Zilla, Yut..... lets talk.... and then shoot grendels ( or anything else - i even have a barrett).
