I sent him a text on Sunday, that the money order was sent- that's when he said he was in the hospital. I couldn't believe it.

You never know when it's your time. This is very sad, yet he got very lucky that his condition was found. He said he'll be fine. Doc's did too!

Get well dude, we need you. We're all praying for you. Have your wife send me a pic of you-when you feel better- of a big thumbs up from you. Heck, 2 of em!

Thanks everyone. I'm at home recovering now.

I always assumed my health was the least thing I needed to worry about, since I'm in good shape, active, eat very well, don't drink, don't smoke, but none of that changes the fact you have a congenital heart defect.

They patched it up with an atrial occluder, so I should be in better shape once I've fully recovered.

I appreciate everyone's prayers and support.
