They can't take what's already in our hands--- not possible. It's the future for the kids - that's the issue.
They could try to ban our usage at the ranges, hunting, etc. Nah, not gonna happen.
It's not possible,,, think of the loss of officiers. Would you want to walk the driveway up to my front door to try-- to take weapons away from a home owner like me?

I first started reloading at the beginning of the great ObamaScare after Newtown, and was more than a little frustrated at how difficult it was to find components. Especially for someone starting from scratch like I was. I've been smart enough over the last several years to slowly but steadily build my supply. I figure I've got enough components to shoot as much as I normally do for 4-5 years without having to resupply.
I will be shocked if we make it through the election season without another round of panic buying. I figure I've got the reloading components covered, but I still need to stock up on gun parts in case of any failures. Something as simple as a broken extractor can bring things to a screeching halt

what makes anyone think HRC would be as 'good" as obama? -- we are just now are getting through his last term-- it may take 25 or more years to get the economy back on its feet. he has done everything in his power to weaken the US around the world -- and give away precious national assets --
i certainly doubt that HRC will be any better and she can be far far worse than obama ever was. -- lets just say socialist HRC does about as good a job as obama has for the next 8 years ??
will there even be a USA even left in 4-8 years of socialist rule? will we lose whats left of our constitution--???

Just don't vote for her, we'll suffer the way with D.ump. After all of his BS on building giant walls on the Mexican border, get laughed out,- he won't be taken seriously anymore.
He can maybe focus on the wars, economy instead.

Yuck! About the only Democrat who even pays lip service to the 2nd Amendment appears to have lost California.
My advice: - Get into the trenches and support local or national pro-2A candidates -- not all of us can do this, but the more the better!
- Donate to the NRA. Other "2A" organizations are reputed to fly false colors, so be sure to vet them before donating!
- Donate to pro-2A candidates even if they aren't yours,
- Communicate the value of the 1s & 2nd Amendments along with the entire Bill of Rights, to individual liberty and their positive impact on public order and safety. Do this even with folks and incumbents who are rabidly anti-gun.
- Actively work to support local shooting ranges in urban settings -- the more folks who actually shoot the better are the chances for keeping the Bill of Rights intact.

You've heard that the Chabot Gun Club is being denied a renewal of their lease with the East Bay Regional Parks District? I am told that the hearing was packed with Club supporters, but to no avail against the "noise, lead, and yucky guns" sentiments. http://chabotgunclub.com
Surprisingly Supervisor Nate Miley supported the club. In the 90's, Nate was the source of considerable gun ban activity in Alameda County. Go figure.

i am spending the rest of this year getting into the sales that are happening right now on all the stuff i need for the next bit of time. its very hard to tell if that bit of time will go on for 4 years, 8 years or behond. all i know is that i am making as sure as i can that i will be able to have fun with the hobby i really love and have a way to provide meat for my table, and i dont mean hitting deer with a car!!!!

I think it's a great idea to keep stuff stocked up and thinking ahead, especially when things are on sale or reasonably priced.
The biggest problem with "hoarding" for future use is that when the time comes when reloading components or ammo is scarce, it's nearly impossible to tell how long the shortage will last, or if it will become permanent. Therefore it takes all the fun out of sport shooting for me as I feel like I'm shooting up a finite resource with no way to replenish what I've burned. For example I love CCI's subsonic 22lr hp's, and have a few bricks from before Newtown. But I use them very sparingly because there is no reasonable way to get more for what I paid for those.
I have enough to withstand a long dry spell, but I wouldn't be able to shoot at the rate I normally do. No matter how much I had stocked up, I wouldn't be able to shoot at the rate I normally do. But I would be able to hunt, work up a load or two, and practice a little.

During WW2 all domestic ammunition was directed to the war effort thus all civilian sales of hunting or even 22LR ammunition were stopped. Ammunition was very scarce and even more the reason to make every shot count when hunting if one was lucky enough to have any ammo in personal stock.
It is one thing to have to sacrifice during a national emergency but when it is for political objectives it becomes a whole new ball game.

Now...I dont know anyone who can make their own primers, but brass powder and bullets are all do-able. So to prepare, I plan to stock enough primers to last my lifetime.

my guess would be the first thing HRC goes after will be ammo under the EPAs toxic standards , the second thing is she will require all firearms owners to have ins coverage at inflated rates, the next thing will be open up gun owners and manf to lawsuits --
she can cause a ton of pain and not even touch the 2nd-- by the letter of the law-- not the spirit. i'm sure a call to ammend the constitution is in the works as well-- good by 2nd and free speech.
and guess who she will appoint to the SC??? the most rabid anti-gun , socialist , leftist she can find and that will be the new majority.
