Finally got my Grendel to shoot. After a year and a half, two complete AA uppers and now a Lilja barrel, I've finally got consistent accuracy:
7 shots

9 not including outlier. I lost my sticker after shot 6, so my groups grew as I didn't have my mark to aim at consistently. The other two groups in the pic are 5 shots each.

I've shot other 5shot groups, and it is sub moa every time with Amax factory ammo when I do my part.

Glad you got it going. Great looking groups and rifle. I just built one for a friend with a jp barrel and its struggling to hold moa. I took apart, squared upper and bedded everything so maybe that'll work for it. Hate it took u that long, but at least you're there now!

Thank you. I watched a lot of youtube videos on how to install the barrel to the receiver. Seems to work. I think the guy I had originally put it on just took a wrench to it and called it a day. I used blue loctite, moly-lithium, torqued and backed off three times before aligning it with around 55lbs.

Finished my load development for now. 123gr AMAX over 31.4gr of CFE at 2.280. Just about 1.2in 10 shot group. The outlier was my fifth shot, not sure if it was a pull or not. This is my third group with this load and all have been under 1.3in for 10 shots.
