...as I started to say, hopefully we will also have a production 20 MOA picatinny rail from EGW or some other quality manufacturer by the time the production rifles are ready for retail sales.

there are rails in the works, we already have a 0moa one piece rail we will be using soon.

i received a reply from Howa on the extracting issue.

"When our engineers were designing the xxxxxxxx barreled actions, they recognized the necessity to improve the 6.5 Grendels extractor and they have corrected the issue", "If the extractors claw does not engage the cartridges extraction groove, that is the failure which we have corrected by our engineers for commercial production".

it looks like they already took care of it.

yes, i have mounted them and they work. i suggest lapping the rings when using the one pieces however.

That is the rifle I would like to buy,20" heavy barrel.It looks like a long wait to get them in Canada.The interest in this rifle seems fairly high so it will likely take a while to satisfy the American market.I wonder if they will be made with a hinged floor plate?The detatchable magazine release looks to be easy to catch on something and have an unexpected release.

Canada will get these, in time. There are 2 big dealers that placed huge orders for Canada (i dont know the names as of yet). hinged floor plate is not an option for now.

I know its tooling cost to cast the Floor Plate but please get ur engineers to put on the to do list once you've got a few sales. cheers

heres a group i shot yesterday with the Howa 20" HB grendel @100yards. This rifle had less than 20 rounds through it, using Hornady 123 Amax factory loads. Measured around .700 C2C
