We need to work out some inter-State commerce that cuts DC out of the mix. The commerce clause is meant to prevent States from screwing others over, not facilitating DC screwing us all over.

What is really needed is a line-item veto authority of the Governors for Federal Taxes. We waste millions just paying lobbyists to get money back to the States where it originated. Utah is one of the 3 States that voted against the Federal Income Tax Amendment in the early 1900's, along with Virginia and another.

Kansas can now join the ranks of the Firearms Freedom Act States.

The only problem I see is in Wickard vs. Filburn (1942)…

SCOTUS ruled that a farmer growing wheat on his farm for his own consumption impacted interstate commerce and could therefore be regulated by the feds.

Our intrastate commerce clause is being challenged and is making it's way through the court system at this moment. Our former democratic governor surprisingly was very supportive of this bill unlike our new Dem governor who is proving to be a Obama yes man and a week supporter of the second amendment for Mt standards. We had a Mt firearms protection act bill pass the legislature only to be vetoed at the governors desk unlike many other states which passed them. Having the right man at the right time in office can be very vital when push comes to shove when enforcing gun rights. I forgot to mention the MSSA vs holder is waiting for a decision by the 9th dist. court.

Damn nice to see good Americans doing the right thing. Things such as this give me hope that true patriots will prevail, our constitution will be upheld, and America will once again operate for the betterment of America, not the destruction of it. Thanks for that read.

They basically told Holder to pound sand, and clean his own house of the Fast & Furious mess before even talking to them about firearms, which is exactly how they needed to respond to the Black Panther thug who assaulted his own college ROTC building as a young armed radical useful idiot for the communists in the 1970's.

Everything I needed to know about Eric Holder I learned when he dismissed the case against his brethren in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case, which is major crossing of the line when you show up with clubs at a voting center and do what those clowns did.

If I saw some behavior like that when I went to vote, there would be some citizen's arrest going on. The penalty for tampering with or intimidating people at a voting center should be so severe, people would think twice about it.

You can also learn a lot more about what a criminal Eric Holder is by his actions in the Clinton DOJ, his work in the private sector afterwards, his involvement in Waco, pardoning Hillary's cocaine-selling brothers from Federal prison, pardoning the Puerto Rican terrorists who lead a bombing and murder campaign in the US for 10 years, pardoning of March Rich for $8.1 Billion in tax evasion, the Chiquita Bananas/FARC/AUC scandal, and who knows what else. They guy's resume reads like a high-profile mafia attorney, who cut his teeth in the trenches of organized revolt against our Nation in the 1970's, and has since gone suit and tie to do even more damage.

As an AG, he's been placed to implement some "get back", not act impartially as the Chief Attorney for the DOJ.
