There are lots of 6.5 bolt guns, but I assume you meant the Grendel?

I'm hoping that Mossberg will announce a 6.5 Grendel MVP!

Turn off the gas system on your AR Grendel and tada its now a straight pull bolt action....jk

A MVP Grendel would be kinda neat sice it uses ar mags other than that I would go with a bigger 6.5 in a bolt gun like a 260 or 6.5x47 or the tried and true swede

I believe that the closest we ever got to a bolt gun was the CZ 527. It was reported a few years ago that CZ was looking into it, but the guy in charge of the project left the company, so the project quietly died. Maybe we'll get a bolt gun..about the same time we can get a man into space.

I'm assuming Bill A, and maybe others on here, are attending SHOT '13 (not with a booth, but just making the rounds). And as part of that perhaps stop by CZ's and Sako's booth, chit chat a bit, see what their current feelings are for Grendel bolt rifles?

The Air Force can get a man into space (in the X37B...wadded up in the bay...), just not a live one yet...

I hope somebody does come through with a nice factory bolt gun soon. I'd love to have one, but don't have the spare scratch to dedicate to a custom one (too many $$$$). The price of a custom one kills it's worth to cost ratio for me. I could build another nice AR for what a bolt gun runs at the present.
