Anybody else hunting yotes, snow is deep here in vermont, i got 3 in jan off of bait piles, ther all gone now snow to deep to replenish,,might try a cheap bag of dog food,what do you say...Sloan

I've only got out calling once this winter but it was a good trip. This was our first stand that morning... I scored a duce with my Grendel & my partner managed one with his 243


Jumped this one during deer season last fall. Another Grendel kill.

No bait... mostly calling them in. I rarely pass one up as a target of opportunity when out in the field .

Gut piles, any kind of meat scraps, ask the local grocery store and tell them what you are using it for.

I have used chicken parts, liver that has gone out of date or has been in the freezer too long, etc.

Just keep a 5 gallon bucket handy and have a lid, keep it cool so it does not go too rotten.
