Now you're just rubbing it in...Since you're at it, can you take a pic of the bottom of the mag well to show how much funnel there it? Those look like great receivers for a heavy barrel build. Oh yeah, tell us more about the bipod.

Thats cool, I like the look of the lower but theres a lot of play in it. The rainier arms upper fits like a glove on my other lowers so i'll probably swap it out for a seekins precision lower

Sure, i'll take some this afternoon.

The Sinclair bipod is the best bipod I've ever used. It's all billet and stainless steel construction with precise movements. It has a very solid pin through locking system that goes all the way through the sling stud and pressure locks with two tri-blade thumb screws. It has spring loaded notched legs with quick release buttons them incase you need to take them off. The thing I like the most about it is the dual adjustment legs which not only go in and out to adjust height but also side to side which enables you to have a wider more stable shooting platform and also lowers the rifles center of gravity also increasing rifle stability.

If i remember correctly, last time i put it on the chrony while it was on the old upper it shot 2816 with 123 gr Hornady A Max. I'm going to do some testing with the adjustable gas block and see if that has any effect on velocity.

123gr @ 2800+ is smokin' right along.

Thanks for taking the magwell pics. That answers my question. Looks like they could have gone with a more flared magwell opening, but that wouldn't be necessary for this stick. There's a lot of meat in the front strap of the magazine well, as well as the rear junction with the trigger guard.

No problem man. I like everything about the lower except that there's a lot of play between the upper and lower even with a accuwedge. Thats a big enough problem for me with this rifle that i will most likely replace it with a seekins precision.

I had the chance to see a couple Seekins rifles two weekends ago, and they were were beatifully executed! A guy I deeply respect, who is a top 20 National Level 3 gun competitor was shooting one, (Not sponsored by Seekins), and he told me that it absolutely was the best 5.56 rifle he has ever shot. He has built his own in the past, and built 3 different guns trying to achieve what he says Seekins achieved with their 3 gun rifle.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one based on what I saw and what he said.

I agree 100%. I had a seekins sp3 rail on order until I decided to use the adjustable gas block. The rail wouldn't fit over it. I was highly disappointed that I couldn't use it.

I dig those Sinclair bipods. It's what I have on my .308, though I haven't had much time spent with the bipod yet. There is a little slop, but it works well. I like that the legs come off so easily, and can be stored away in a pocket. this is so much handier than their F Class bipod.
