Been a long time lurker, finally decided to join the group. Currently trying to develop some good loads for my 6.5 Grendel and one for my 224 Grendel. They’ve been a bit finicky, not sure if it’s the AR platform or the lack of decent powders. Hopefully I can find some good recommendations.

Welcome aboard!

I think that by 'lurking' you have already read several of the threads related to load work up and have a feel for what normal performance is.

Nonetheless, can you indicate your load performance goals and what you are getting? That would help 'prime the conversation pump' and maybe even get a new thread going!

Ill keep lurking for sure. I have found a lot of information, unfortunately I was only able to get CFE223 powder and I think my barrel just doesn’t like it. I now have H335 and am currently working with AR Comp and am seeing much better results.

Accuracy and SD/ES were horrible with CFE223, found a couple pounds of ARComp and H335 and am seeing better results.

Honestly I think it might be me, I am better at shooting a bolt gun than an AR.
