Hello everyone! Retired for 2 years from the medical repair field after 40+ and finally settling down to this rifle aspect of reloading. I've enjoyed shotgun in the past, along with 38/357, 9 mm, 10 mm and 45 acp to feed my range baby's. Now for this 6.5 G baby I picked the parts up for over the last 3 years off Facebook "Waffles" and assembled two years ago. Thru some rounds down an indoor range to sight it in and check functionality and after cleaning, stored it for our move away from STL. I am a member of the Rolla Shooting Club with a 5 station 250 yd range, 5 station pistol and 5 station skeet/trap ranges as well. It's 2+ hour drive to anything longer so it will have to do until my local auto body guy will talk his wife into letting me shoot off his back bodyworks shop and miss the 2 cows there. I mean there are so many deer within 300-500 yds, it's a shame we all can't share an alloted time to harvest one. 6 mm ARC is something I want to try next after the Grendel build is fine tuned and I get the go ahead from my CFO of 40 years. She's getting her 38/357 Henry next weekend for our 40th to go with her 22 Henry.
Well, I have a All American Turret press, Hornady single press to reload from, RCBS 1500 Chargemaster powder thrower and Hornady basic thrower. RCBS, Hornady and Redding die sets that I've picked up over the years. Also a set of 380 acp for a friend and his wife in love with that caliber for practice ammo.
I love photography, the great and grandkids (22's ready) and my 2 older kids and spouses enjoy coming down to shoot as well. Traveling has been fun as well and hope to do more along with hitting some ranges as 2A friendly states permit.
Did a 4 year stint in the USAF repairing Electronic Warfare equipment on B-52G's at GAFB and enjoyed upstate NY. I've been active with the Buffalo Naval Park and their work on the USS Little Rock, USS Croaker and my love for the past 58 years USS THE SULLIVANS. Also in Albany, NY aboard the USS SLATER destroyer escort in honor of my grandfather.
