or just get a A&D 120 and be done with it https://ceproducts.shop/products/fx-120i...g-x-0-001g

Yup. That is the one I had for 4 years that went Tango Uniform. The second one I bought (Twin) was not consistent so it is going back.

Creedmoore sports also kicked out one that is milligram - https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product/.../creedmoor. Ultimate reloader did a you tube unboxing and test with it.

if you really want a top system: https://autotrickler.com/pages/autotrickler-v4 and read at the bottom, they recommend which scientific balance to go with it. autotrickler v4 recommends the A&D FX-120i scale. Brownells carries them. https://www.brownells.com/reloading/powd...0302008005

this setup is what the top F-Class shooters in our club are using. So you're looking at ~ $1500 to get what these guys are using, but they're claiming weighing to the grain of powder with repeatability. I'm sure the A&D scale has recommendations on how to setup and use them to ensure the precision of the scale that's advertised.

more than I can justify at the moment, but it'll solve your repeatability and stability issues.

You can get the A & D FX-120i scale at a lower price than Brownells here:

https://www.oldwillknottscales.com/store/shopCart.aspx

It's still not cheap at $606.50 but if it lasts many years, it might be worth it.

Added comment: Looks like I should have read the rest of the replies in this thread before adding mine. I see the A & D 120i can be found at a lower price than the one I posted & that another scale (the one at Creedmore Sports) might be an even better choice.

That Creedmoor scale looks excellent for the price. I have bought a lot of gear, and supplies through Creedmoor, always been pleased

Sticks, I assume you have forced air heat?

Turn off your heat AND blower, wait ten minutes for your house to depressurize then try weighing again.

Room air pressure can effect your weight readings.

0.01gr is only 0.65 milligrams

Bought mine from them and received it last Thursday. Great High Precision Balance! Cool
Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.

CE Products Inc still has FX-120i available for $470. I think they’re a dealer for Adam’s “Auto-Trickler” too.

I saw this balance (from this website) before I placed my order for mine. So I'm curious, how can they sell the balance for a significantly less price than everyone else?

IDK but, it’s legit and it’s where I purchased mine a couple of years ago.

CE is located in Canada. My bet is that all the US dealers for AnD have a minimum price they agree to sell for that is set by AND and Canadian dealers do not. They are legit, most of the people I know with a AnD have bought from them. Adam MacDonald who is also Canadian uses the exclusively to distribute the Autotrickler.
