Got a good buddy looking for a 16 complete assembled upper for his son and wife to use this season. I referred him to a Grendel Hunter or Sanders Armory upper. Sanders was out of stock, GH was a lil out of his price range. I told him Id check here for recommendations, give it a couple days. Hed also be interested in buying a complete used upper (known good shooter).
What are yalls recommendations for a complete assembled 16 upper?

PSA has 12", 18" and 20" complete uppers in stock. No 16" listed in stock.

Yep, talked with him at length about an 18 upper this evening. He wants to see if he can find a 16 barreled upper as this rifle will be primarily used in a shooting house by his son and wife. Shorter = easily maneuverable. Thank you for the info though.

I hunt with a 20 psa out of ground blinds with my son. No issues. 6 position carbine stock shortens it back up while in the blind so barrel length is not an issue. A Cauldwell field pod tripod is an absolute blessing for kids and wives. Worth every penny

I saw that your friend already purchased, but I bought an upper with a longer barrel than I originally planned, and then I took the muzzle device off of it. Same length, but easier on the ears for shooting out of a shooting house. Just my .02
