Ok please be gentle Im new to Ars!! I just received a new windham in 5.56 but I want to shoot 6.5 grendal, does windham have a different lower then mil spec? What would I need to change to swap the barrel besides the barrel, bcg, buffer, and magazine?

Barrel, bolt, mag. That's it.

Just buy a 6.5 Grendel upper and shoot both.

Every time I bought an extra upper for an AR-15 or a 22 LR conversion kit it morphed into another complete gun. I still have my 5.56/223 AR-15s but I shoot the 6.5 Grendels the most.
