I notice in both pix that scope / scope mount is bridging the upper reciever and handguard. THat is a poor practice and typically reduces accuracy. THe handguard does not have a sufficiently rigid attachment to the upper receiver to do that. Otherwise, they are good looking rifles.

Welcome to the forum “Whip”. This place is great, you’ll get sound advice from members here. Ask the stupid questions, it’ll save you some headache and $$ down the road. I’ve learned some things the easy way (asking for members opinions) and some things the hard way (wasted time/$).
just_john gave good advice above concerning optics mounting as well, the Leupold cantilever mount for the scope is installed backwards. It has been much easier to get good accuracy with the optics mounted firmly on the upper receiver.

I welcome any advice i can get, so heres what i have on the way. a grendelhunter 18"fluted upper, magpul PRS stock, vortex crossfireII 6-18, it will go on my POF billet lower. i will be purchasing all my ammo as i havent stepped into the reloading world just yet. so any advice on range ammo and hunting ammo would be appreciated.

How is it going? Any pics and reports about accuracy? I'm about to start my build and torn between 16" stainless barrel from Grendel Hunter vs Faxon.
