Two kids were killed in North Georgia the last couple of days shooting handguns.
Separate incidents.

What a damn shame.

I read about an 18-year-old who accidentally shot himself in the head at a Symerna, Georgia gun range on Friday, April 24, 2020. Definitely a shame.
But I’ll have to quote my late uncle.He said that there is no such thing as a gun accident only gun negligence.

I have a "Google Alert" set up to send me notices when there are new stories with certain key words. One of my alerts is for "hunting accident" and there are stories that show up on a daily basis. Some are new events, some are updates on previous events, and some having nothing to do with actual hunting ("Monica was hunting for her cell phone and had an accident..."). As you say, they are a shame, usually based on a healthy amount of negligence and other factors. Here is one that popped up yesterday about a hunter in Kentucky who is back turkey hunting after previously having been shot when he was mistaken for a turkey by a 17 year old hunter...who shot at movement...

Actually that was in Missouri, their local tv station is is KY3.

I watch for these too and I am in Kentucky.
