Pretty nice group using the Barnes 120 Match Burner and 29.3 grains of Reloader 15.
If I can replicate this accuracy it will make a fairly inexpensive match load. The bullets go for around 26 cents each, B.C. .460.
Barnes MB in all offerings have been consistent in performance for me as well. My 223, 308, 6.5 creed, 6 creed and 30-06. Now if that accuracy could be achieved with my hunting rounds from them....:
Those are great results!!! Especially the 29.3 load with that SD and MV.
Glad you are having good results with RL15. My AR hated it so I never tried it in my bolt gun. Of course, most everything I shot in that AR was crappy early on and after 250 to 300 shots, everything started shooting much better including SST's. Maybe I should revisit it again. I was just going to burn it up in .223 offerings.
Update on RL 15 and the Barnes 120 Match burner. Winter project was to convert a Ruger M77 take off stock for use on the RAP.
The weather and temp. was o.k. for a short range session today to see if having a target type stock gave better/worse/no change in accuracy.
Same load for group #1 and #2 except #1 was Hornady 3x brass and #2 was fire forming Lapua brass.

I just started dabbling with RL15 in 308. So far not impressed. Getting pressure signs early. However, temps have been in the 20?s. Your results look good.. might have to try RL15 in the Grendel.

Like to see that RAP in that 77 stock! Bet it looks 100x better than factory!

I'll post a pic soon. Its in a rough cosmetic state right now as it was an experiment and I didn't want to spend a lot of wasted time on it if it didn't work out. It looks very similar to any Ruger Model 77 with the wide beaver tail stock except where the unit that has the mag well in it sticks out a bit and is green instead of the brown/black laminate wood color. Oh, and I had to fabricate trigger guard for it that works but isn't what I would want for it's final state.
