lefty brass catcher

Ok, all the brass catchers out there that I have seen or read about in forums are right handed...including the hi $$ ones... Does anyone know from personal experience if there is a brass catcher for a left handed ar? Tried the Caldwell velcro...am giving it away today as it will not ever work on my lefty grendel.

Caldwell is what you want.

Cheap priced and the catcher attaches to the top rail vie a adaptor that comes with it.

It works facing both directions. Either right or left side and the bag part can be adjusted to better fit over the ejection port.

The attachment adaptor fits under a scope. Just need enough rail area to clamp it to the upper.

The caldwell velcro is crap but the caldwell picatiny has worked great for me and it should work for lefties np

I had the Velcro Caldwell for a few years and ahad to modify it by adding a coathanger internal frame. Worked OK until I got a handguard with QD sling mounts near the receiver, then it wouldn't stay put.

So I gambled on a cheapie from Amazon.

Should work for a leftie too as long as you have the space to accommodate the release.

I have a $12 Caldwell Velcro brass catcher got my ARs.It works well for me.
But I also made my own brass catcher out of a three dollar linen bag from Walmart.Two 24 inch pcs of electrical ground wire and a piece of 2 x 4 .I drill two 8th inch holes 12 inches apart .Form the wire into a loop,good to go,works well for my M1A and other various SA rifles.

Tactical Brass Recovery should have left hand models. I emailed because I only saw right hand models on their page. They responded that they can do a left hand model.
