2 of my custom builds (19" and 24" AR Grendels)

First up is the Bumble Bee gun. Nicknamed by my daughter because of the yellow and black color scheme. The upper is a 19" Sabre Defense. The lower is a Charles Daley Defense. The trigger system is an AR-Gold modular trigger. Scope is a Bushnell laser range finding scope.

Here is my long range gun. I'm getting slightly better than 1/2 MOA out of this gun at 200 yards. AA lower. Timney modular trigger. Millet scope. 24" stainless bull barrel.

Honestly I don't know. I built the lower but my wife gave me the built upper for Easter a couple years ago.

What kind of grip is that on the 24".

He is using a command arms grip. I have one on my beowulf. The palm shelf piece is sold seperately but its not all that expensive. Im thinking at least 20 dollars or less. Good grips because they come with 3 different fronts and back to customize it your hand. It also has a storage compartment in the bottom of it.

Nice shooters! Is the Millet a TRS 4-16x or other? How do you like it and how's it functioning? May I also ask what scope mount you're using on it? Thanks.

I believe the scope mount is an American Defense mount. And you have a good eye, the scope is a Millet TRS 4-16x. I like the scope for a low/mid priced piece of glass. Honestly my eyesight is not good enough to shoot really long ranges with this scope, at 16x I'm probably maxed out in my ability to see clearly out to 300 yards. To go to that range and beyond I'd need a higher magnification piece of glass. But for my first try at shooting small groups out to a couple hundred yards I'm very happy with the scope.

Good to hear on the scope. Mine is mainly for benchrest and outings at my buddy's farm. I really just need something to hold me over. If I try to save up for a nice scope, it'll be months before I can add optics to the build I'm close to completing. I want something cheap but also something decent I wouldn't mind using on another AR. I've been looking at the TRS and I think I'm going with that for now. Although, Primary Arms just released a front focal plane 4-14x Mil-dot for only $229. Looks interesting...

I can't speak to the Primary Arms optics, I've never owned one. I know that a lot of folks at the Indiana Gun forum, where I am also a member, speak highly of the brand as one of the better low end optics.

For my money, the Millet optics seem to hold up and do their job. They are clearly not in the same league as a Steiner or Kahles, but at the budget level, they are a good value. I've got 3 of them on various guns.
