I have a for instance for you to consider.
This past week a gentleman on FB posted to a sight that a certain barrel maker was running a great sale on rifle barrels, sharing all this knowledge on the net so supposedly to help out his fellow shooters , that was my assumption anyway, so I directed my brother to it. When he checked it out lo and behold everything was out of stock. Unbeknownst to me , the original gentleman who posted to FB about it had bought up about 30 or so barrels , he has more than doubled the price and has offered them for resale. This is a legitimate business move I agree, but I do feel it is sort of a s----y move on his part. What say you? I just wanted to get an opinion outside of mine.

I wouldn't buy them. Sounds like the same guy trying too do a rip off sale of his own products.

I would never pay full price for any barrel, never mind double the price.

Geez it seems to bother me when someone with no stake in the game doesn't name the manufacture, I don't why it just does.

The guy with the barrels is a rip off artist. Enough said.

Pretty sure I know the post you're referencing... On principle alone I'd go elsewhere & spend more money than "deal" with someone who pulls crap like that. But my wife says I am a royal pain in the.. well ya know & stubborn as it gets.
