Atheris upper ?

Hi I?m new to the forum and new to the 6.5 Grendel. I would like to buy an assembled upper for my wife to use on whitetail. I?m looking at the Atheris arc 15-T2 Grendel upper on their site, I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with Atheris uppers. There not much on the internet on them and only seven reviews on their site.

I went ahead and ordered an 18” barrel with adjustable gas block now to decide on the rest of the stuff I need.

I have an Atheris 20" T2 upper. All the parts and assembly seems to be high quality. I've not shot it with premium ammo so can't really say anything definitive about it yet. My ACS and Elander mags worked just fine and zeroing my optic was simple. I've got some Hornady Black ammo now and if it stops raining I'll get out next week and try it.

I've bought parts from him before he was Aetheris. I had good experience with his service. I can't say I know much about his weapons, though he seems to be in control of his work. Aside from being self built, from self branded parts, I can't say I see much difference between his stuff and others.

I know he and SGT of ARMS are the two mods for the FB Grendel page that seems to have traction. I've never been all that impressed with TBOX over the other more well established names. Not that either vendor is not as good as any other, they're just new to the club so to speak.

That's my impression/2 cents.
