FINALLY got my 20" PF Bartlien barrel built in to a side charge upper. Very pleased with the results! First target is breaking it in. Suppressor removed and cleaning after shots 1,2,4 (7 total). Second target picture is shooting over the magnetospeed, 9 shots total. 9 shots averaged 2575fps through a TBAC Ultra7.

Second build is a Howa 20" HB action i bedded in to a Boyds varmit thumbhole. It has been less than what i expected. Before i bedded it it was shooting 1.5-2MOA with a variety of factory loads. It seemed to like the federal fusion 120sp the most. So, after bedding and a couple boxes, it has tightened up a bit. Maybe a few more boxes and it will be what i had hoped for! Five shots over the magnetospeed said the Federal load was averaging 2521fps.

Try some eld-m hornady ammo in the howa.

I just put my 20 inch barreled action in a pro varmint last night and put the first 5 shots throw it this after noon.

Pulled my last 2 shots but it is a much better group then the one you posted. I would try some eld-m ammo and see how it goes.

It didn't like very much! This target is 3 hornady loads. The old 123 AMax, the 123 ELDM, and 123 SST. I don't remember which is which except the SST is the top right. I was surprised the Amax didn't do any better as i've never had a grendel that didn't love that load. Wish they hadn't stopped making it......

Yea hornady sst ammo has gone down hill in all my rifles for some reason. It use to be a really great shooting round but now it isn't that great.

I figured the eld-m would have done better, so far it is shooting great in my howa.

But barrels are like people everyone of them is diffrent.

what kind of AR stock is that? Is it same length as A2 stock or longer/shorter? Is it rifle tube scope? Does it have storage compartment?
