You realize that Verizon IPhones are limited in their ability to receive calls and send messages, right? Have to go AT&T to have both.

My Brother in law & his wife Both have iphones with AT&T and their service is terrible, they miss as many calls as I do if not more!! They are waiting for their contract to run out so they can go with Verizon too.. Just look at both companies coverage maps & that in it's self says it all, and that's about the only service that will work when you get more than 10 miles from the interstate or live in the sticks, like a lot of my friends..

Coverage is certainly an issue, and should be the dominant decision maker. Where coverage is equal, (and don't look at the coverage sheets, they are both lying through their teeth, because they measure coverage without taking into account obstructions, etc. and by measuring ANY signal. The government should limit advertising to areas that have a minimum of 3 bars!) AT&T kills Verizon because of the ability to talk and surf the web, or talk and text at the same time. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but I find myself doing lots of tasks where being able to do both is a huge benefit. (IE...talking to your bank about an error they made while you are online looking at the account, giving directions to someone, etc.) BUT....if there is no coverage, it doesn't matter what phone you use or what provider you have, it sucks!

I use verizon. Although I hate them because of thier customer service. I get better service (up here in northwest washington state) than I did with AT&T. I use the motorola droid X. It uses the Droid operating system which I find I like alot better than what is available on the Iphone.
I think your problem is with your Iphone and not your service. Apple sucks and always has ... LOL.
I have a Sprint HTC Evo 4G, I preordered it before the release in May of last year. In August my phone started acting odd & would only let me use it in Landscape mode, so I took it to be serviced & they gave me a ragged beat up reconditioned Evo for my new one. Bad customer service! I have had 4 replacements since then & got this one I'm using last Friday & it's worse than the one I turned in.. I love my android phone but my wife Hates it when she calls me & it goes right to voice mail, then I may get the message later that night or the next day.. We don't get service in out house, so they gave us an Air Wave, it's like a router for our cell phones but it doesn't work because we live beside a very small poor service area. I can go on my back & sometimes can get 4G service or 100 yards down the street & get 4 full bars of the fast 4G service. I can surf the web & talk on the phone at the same time too.
I'm sure that can be done with the Verizon service too because ghats what several of my friends have.
It just seems to be the service that works best where we live. Its the same everywhere, one service just seems to work better than others. I agree about the limitations of the iphone but we have a trial period and if we don't like it we can take it back..
I have Verizon and the coverage is decent. ATT absolutely sucks where I live. When my brother visits, his ATT cell phone can only get adequate signal strength at the top of the stairs by the window, or outside by the pool.
Well I went with Verizon and am trying to get use to the new phone. My biggest complaint is the small screen on the new phone, but it works at home and that is a huge relief. Now when the wife calls the phone will most likely ring.. When my 9 Year old slashed his knee open and had to go to the ER & my wife could not contact me, it was Bad. I thought she was going to the Sprint store and Ream them a New one, if you know what I mean!!!
New phones and now everything is fine..
