Ordered two E-Lander 10-round magazines (as well as a box of Sierra 107 TMKs).

Magazines are labeled for use in both 6.5 Grendel and 6.8 SPC.

Fine.

Magazines are laser labeled on the side.

Fine.

Laser label says "6.8 SPC."

What?!?

Is this some kind of cruel cosmic joke?

I envision myself standing on a mountaintop with my fists raised toward heaven — while the camera view swirls around me — as I cry from the depths of my shattered heart, "Whhyyyy????"

I noticed Midsouth was advertising their E-Lander mags as being for 6.5 Grendel and 6.8. I looked online for other sources of E-Lander mags and found no other mention of 6.8 SPC mags manufactured by E-Lander. I know my E-Lander mags I purchased from Alexander Arms were marked with AA logo and 6.5 Grendel. The E-Lander mags I bought from Brownell’s are printed with 6.5 Grendel and E-Lander name made in Israel.


I just looked at Midsouth again and they are now listing a 6.8/6.5 Grendel mag manufactured by Pro Mag. Looks like this is a Zytel Nylon type polymer magazine. The description is misleading, blued steel mag then list Zytel Nylon polymer follower and body. I doubt I venture towards this new product but it looks like the 6.5 Grendel is starting to be noticed.

I bought a few of the AR Stoner 6.8 mags when they were on sale.
User reviews said they worked fine with 6.5 Grendel.
I tried one and it did not malfunction with 6.5 G at all.

The laser etched cartridge on your mag even looks like a 6.8.
Oh, the inhumanity. There is always the Dremel.
