If it's not some type of quality alloy, I wouldn't mess with it.

I typically try to stick with forged mil spec. Dont even want billet for this reason. Havent seen a failure till now but i always knew they happen. Man that probably hurts...

I have always had good luck with New Frontier Armory original polymer lowers. Still have two. One is on a UL Grendel build. Is this a new model or just a change in the ad copy emphasizing the carbon fibers in the polymer mix?
