Someone today told me the ATF has temporarily stopped cashing checks. I don't know how to validate his claim. Does anyone know anything to suggest if true/false?

Called RMGC today since they have a kiosk. They haven't heard anything about it and have requested I let them know when I hear back. Could be a rumor, the guy I know that told me is generally reliable. Will know soon, hopefully.

Called 3x today. No live person, just have to leave a message. This was thru there public information office. Not calling again. If they do callback, great. If not, that's life.

Y'all realize how ridiculous this claim is, right, that the ATF has stopped cashing checks. No this are not waiting for Biden to take office. The OP post was long before the election, LOL.

If the ATF stopped cashing checks, this would be HUGE news on every gun forum and in Facebook discussion groups, Quora, Reddit, etc. Has anyone heard from the thousands of suppressor and class III purchasers during the last couple of months that the ATF hasn't cashed their checks? Seen any pro-gun groups like the NRA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, or outspoken pro gun folks on YouTube talking about it? Nope.

Yeah... I can't imagine they would stop cashing checks. Hell, they'd probably quit processing and keep cashing checks just for the interest income.

Just received word that my stamp has been received, picking up tomorrow.

Cashed 4/3
Approved 11/10
Arrived 11/25

That was with a delay to submit a correction (first time doing a private NFA transfer).

Another cashed 2/6.
Received 8/11.

They cashed the first one of two for me. Paperwork filed 10/28 Check Cashed 12/14 for a Dead Air Nomad L.
