Alexander arms 16 inch barrel question

Hi all, I am in the middle of a build on a billet receiver set and Alexander arms just notified me my barrel with bolt will be in Monday. Yeaaaaa uh wait.

Reading the specs I noticed at time of order it states the gas port is at the mid point so I ordered a middy gas tube. But now I think it is actually carbine length.

Which is it? I ordered a carbine length any way. I can use which ever I don't need for a 6.8 build I plan for next(extra rec. set, they seem to breed when boxed together).

So which length for the 16inch fluted from Alexander arms?

I used a mid length tube on mine just fine

From the description on the AA web page: Gas port is positioned at mid-length.

Well the barrel came in after a 5 week wait.

Excellent made barrel with matched bolt. Gas port is positioned for a mid length tube. Now to find time to assemble the upper.
