A2 buffer w/ spacer in a carbine buffer tube?

So I was wondering can I put a A2 buffer w/ spacer in a carbine buffer tube? Will it have enough room for the bolt to cycle? Something like this http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?p...7&cat=1719

Or is the h3 buffer essentially the same weight as the a2?

this will gie you a rifle weighted buffer with the rifle spring in a slightly longer (.75" than carbine) receiver extension.

Sorry, but that will not work. It will not lengthen the standard carbine buffer tube because the tube still must thread into the receiver the same way.

It's possible to use a spacer that will enable use of a carbine buffer in a rifle tube, but not vice versa (that I'm aware of).

Stick with carbine buffers in a carbine tube.

if you are just trying to take a little jump out of the rifle ,just use a wolff or jp spring with your buffer you can get them for 13-16 dollars ,or just add weight to your existing buffer and add the spring.

That rifle stock extender is for a rifle-length extension tube. A rifle-length buffer will NOT work in a carbine-length extension tube-the bolt carrier group will bottom-out before reaching the cycling distance necessary to eject or feed. What are you trying to do exactly?

You can get a spacer for an A2 rifle length tube so you can use a carbine buffer, but to my knowledge a rifle buffer in a carbine length tube will definitely not work.
