Alexander Arms has stripped Grendel lowers on sale for $58.00 until Wed Sept 7th. Just putting it out there in case someone is looking for a lower.

That is a great deal for those who want their lower to indicate that their build is a Grendel, or for those who just don't want to pay over $100 for a lower. I'm jumping on this one so I can dedicate a lower for my Grendel, after I Cerakote it of course.

I would've probably gone for it, were it not for two things.

a. I haven't decided if I want a 6.5 Grendel or multi-caliber lower.

b. Since I only shoot factory FMJ ammo, there's little point in buying/building a Grendel when there's no such ammo available.

You know you can build it into any caliber you want, right? You're not pigeonholed into just what's on the lower.

Sure, I know that. It's a matter of aesthetics, is all.

Somehow it just wouldn't seem right to shoot, say 6.8 SPC, from a 6.5 Grendel lower. :eek: Wink

I got in on the deal. With the price being so good, I figured it just makes sense to have an AA grendel marked lower to go with my "Alex A 6.5G" marked upper.

i guess this means i will have build something out of my spikes lower, now.

i got a shipping email last week, but the tracking info shows that it hasn't been picked up yet.

EDIT:
just checked the shipping email ..... and it shipped last night!
