meant to title "THERMAL NIGHT VISION AND THE GRENDEL"....
anybody running one of the newer FLIR thermal units on their hunting rig?
I'm thinking about getting one within the next few months and trying it out on my suppressed SBR Grendel.
would love to hear some experience from those who might have been there done that...

I would check out Sniper's Hide Forum.
They have some guys over there with money to burn on optics.

Double N Spy has a thermal and has a post under the hunting. First thermal kill. You have to make up your mind on price spent and thermal or night vision. My next big purchase will be Night Vision and probably an ATN product. BANG BANG!!

Used a unit from tnvc it worked very well, it was a borrowed unit for a sponsored hunt with wounded warrior project. It was almost on par with the units I used in the military. I was able to use a hybrid system when I worked with a certain unit, kinda blew everything else away, had red, yellow, blue over black and white night vision. Looked like predator almost. I will tell you that a sbr will mirage and add noise to the picture, especially with a suppressor, we used a wrap on some of our cans and a bowers grip for others.
