The first two remind me of the pigs we got when we hunted deep south Texas.

We hunt in west Texas. Mitchell County to be exact, the Colorado River runs smack dab through the middle of the property so we hunt both sides where convenient.

If people respond about trademarked this or that we shall correctly inform them that it is SAAMI now. I just corrected an RCBS employee the other day, because he said they make LBC dies and not 6.5 G (branded) because the G is a trademarked cartridge, lol! I have the e-mail around here someplace if people want me to post (I can do it on another sub forum).

ok, got it sent to cz-usa. facebook is blocked here at work so i'll do that later. where is the thread for the poll about, to make or not to make a 527 chambered in the grendel? i also told them that the 527 in 6PPC and 22PPC wouldn't be a bad idea.

Might want to add the wildcat 20 Grendel to the list of wishes. 3100 ft/sec for a 55 gr 20 caliber bullet from a 20" barrel and 50,000 psi. I'm doing load development at Grendel pressures to anticipate going into an AR. In the meantime, am using a bolt gun (Savage).

I use Hornady brass, run it through a 6mm PPC FL die, then through the 20 Grendel FL die, chamfer mouths and I'm good to go! That's right the chamber was designed so we don't need toturn or ream the necks!

this is what i got back from czusa. i had asked them what the chances were of getting a 527 built in 6.5 grendel
"I agree, I’m building a 6.5 527 for myself this summer. The tougher part will be convincing the factory. Our 527 production is already maxed out and we had to pull teeth to get the .17 Hornet out as quickly as we did, so it will be a bit before we can start leveraging for a larger-bore 527 chambering."

headed for the hunting grounds tomorrow. i will try to have some new grendel success pictures for this crowd's enjoyment on wednesday or thursday. i look at it as continued research on the field effectiveness of the 110 grn gs custom bullet.....also, it's kind of fun!
