thats some pretty cool hardware! like to have one of those ar 14's just to hang over fireplace. kind of new history to replace the old musket. no, I dont have a musket hanging over my fireplace!

Just imagine 100 years from now when someone finds that rifle. It will be priceless even though it's a complete fake. But it is a very well executed fake.

JT does amazing work. He did a superb job on that AR15 prototype as well, cloning one of the SCHV rifles that was sent to Ft. Benning in the late 1950's for the Infantry Board. As you can see, he even likes to do the shipping crate, ammo boxes, etc. Those 25rd mags are made from two 20rd mags.

He's mega big into the retro stuff, and does those bakelite paintjobs on the furniture as well.

He has also done the Colt Model 601, XM177's, Model 607, 605, 608, and who knows how many other early variants.

The guy should be a consultant on movies and TV shows! Nothing drives me crazier than seeing a gun that didn't exist at the time used in movie or show, or one that even I can tell isn't appropriate for the scene. I'm not an AR historian like LRRPF52 or Stan, so if I notice it, its REALLY bad!
