Replacing the pad on a Stockys CF mini stock. Trying to keep it as light as possible, but need the length more. Anyone have experience down this road? I have a few brand options here to check weight of and try to compare material density but thought I would ask here first. All will be grind to fit, so no good comparison of post grind weight at the moment and dont want to fit a bunch just to find out and only use one. I have also read about guys making a pad from flip flop foam or similar but have not done it. Any experience or ideas for a 1" or longer piece of foam appropriate for this application?

Looks like they make some nice light weight/carbon fiber AR stuff. I didn't see a pad that would work for a bolt gun stock on their sight. Did I miss it?

Doubt it, i made the assumption you had an ar. My bad.
Pretty sure those wont fit. Looks like the Stockys CF stock is finished in the same shape/size as the Blazer R8, so I pretty much stuck with GTF pads or the flip flop/foam style pad.
Anyone done one with a thicker foam? Or a 1 or thicker foam source?
